A Detroit native, Jeff Spicer, recently became a member of the Shaw neighborhood in Saint Louis. Being a talented artist his whole life has taken Jeff all over the country. From his years of service in the US Air Force as a medical illustrator at Wilford Hall medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, to his college years in Western Kentucky where he Graduated Sigma Cum Laud from Murray State University with his Bachelor of Science in education and a Bachelor of Fine Arts specializing in painting, drawing and sculpture.
Jeff works in pastels, oils, and bronze. His works are sought after and included in both private and corporate collections nationally and internationally. He is the recipient of several awards for both his figurative and portrait work.
Jeff is community leader and naturally exudes creativity, leadership and inspiration. These qualities, originating from his strong family roots. Jeff is a singer and performer, his professional art career has branched into several unique areas like his figurative work and his portrait business Wolf Studios. He has an innate ability as a teacher and community organizer. He works with private students and teaches classes, and workshops. He heads several art programs focused on nonprofit projects, including being the founding director of Paducah Art a 'la Cart.
