Abraham Mohler is a sculptor based in Saint Louis. He has been working professionally as an artist since graduating from Arizona State University in 2004 with a degree in studio art. He is proficient in a wide variety of materials including granite, marble, limestone, bronze, wood, glass, and steel. He specializes in sculpting the human figure in stone, and is noted for his superb ability in representational sculpture. His style is a blend of 19th century realism with a more modern sense of the artist’s mark as a way to communicate the process and thought patterns used to coax pure form out of a raw piece of stone. The subject matter in Abraham’s work ranges from the purely representational to the deeply philosophical, yet throughout his body of work a viewer can see that Abraham’s first priority is to present a beautiful object.
With Abraham we see a young artist in the early stages of a very promising career. Defying the odds, he held to his passion and dream of creating artwork as a profession, and is now happily serving clients around the region, from monument dealers to designers, to private patrons. His is a truly remarkable story unfolding."
